Hookstown

Ryan is from Hookstown, PA.  We took a trip out there yesterday and it was wonderful. We spent some time with his grandparents, and had lunch with his dad. After lunch with his dad, we went out to a mall nearby. It literally has its own zip code! We stopped by a candy store and acted like 5 year olds, went to the pet store because I love animals, and went to a place with tons of arcade games, bowling, and food. It was a great trip, and I can't wait to go again.

Beauty Resolutions.

I went over a pretty general list of resolutions before, but I thought I'd be a bit more specific about the beauty ones. So, here we go...

DRESS BETTER: I've always been a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl. My new resolution is to only allow myself to leave the house in jeans and a tee once a week. Otherwise I'll probably wear jeans and a cute top a lot...but hey, its better. I'm keeping a journal of what I wear eat day so I don't break my rule.

NAILS: I'm a nail biter. I have been for as long as I can remember. I'm going to stop. I know that if I give myself manicures, I don't bite my nails, so I'm going to start doing that once a week.

SKIN: I have dry and acne prone skin. I'm also terrible about taking my make up off and washing my face everyday. That's going to change.

HAIR: I'm currently doing the Bye Bye Beehive challenge as I mentioned in previous posts. I'm using YES TO blueberries hair care regimen.  I'm growing my hair out and embracing the natural curls I have.

EXERCISE: I'm going to start running at least twice a week and doing the 10-20-30.

HEALTHY EATING: I haven't decided exactly how I want to do this, but I'm watching what I eat overall for now. I've always been really skinny, and the fact that I've gained 10 pounds in 2 months is not making me happy...

Just HAD to share this. This is my handsome boyfriend being adorable and weird.

Bunny Bath!

Before...
After :)

So I gave Humphrey his bath, and learned so odd things about him.

1. He likes water.

2. He makes really weird noises afterwards.

3. He looks less rabbit-like when wet...

A great start?

My new year started off just wonderfully...not. There are bed bugs in one of the rooms of my house. Just one, but we had to clean everything for the exterminator. Now, I live with my mom, three brothers, my mom's friend, and my mom's friend's son and daughter. We also have two bunnies and a crazy dog that doesn't understand that he doesn't need to go outside every time we do. Basically, there is a lot of stuff to clean.

So between Rex jumping and people yelling, we managed to get everything done. We all have to be out of the house in two hours, for at least four hours. Fun right?

Ry and I are going to his house to hang out and give Humphrey a bath...I'll let you know how that goes. Anyhoo, Does anyone have any questions? Suggestions for post topics? Comments to make my day a little better?

Please excuse the lack of daily pictures in this post, my mom is sleeping in my room. I'll post one later.

Yellow Nails.

Yes, It's winter in Ohio.  Yes, I painted my nails yellow.  I love to paint my nails even though I bite them. I'm in love with this color especially. Its Sally Hanson Insta-Dri in Lightning. It kind of brightens up dreary winter days.

Please excuse the quality, my camera just died so I used my webcam.

2013

Happy New Year! I spent last night with my family and Ryan. We watched the ball drop on TV and ate pizza. It was a really good night overall, even though the day was really tough. Since today is the first day of the year, I thought I'd share my resolutions.

1. Finish the Bye Bye Beehive challenge.

2. Move out on my own.

3. Start college. (I took a year off)

4. Lead worship at church.

5. Beat my anxiety, depression, and body dysmorphic disorders.

6. Write a novel.

7. Dress better/get healthy skin and nails/exercise/eat better.

8. Sing more!

9. Grow closer to God.

10.Improve my relationships with people.

11. Take a picture of myself everyday.

So, for number 11...
